Inspired by the region's historical ties to Italy, Panissimo provides round-the-clock access to freshly baked goods through its innovative "24/7 Bread Stations," combining tradition with modern convenience.

Overview

Panissimo emerged as a response to the growing demand for contactless sales and convenience in bread purchasing. Reginex sought to introduce a new standard in bread distribution by offering self-service vending machines filled with freshly baked products. Zambelli Design was enlisted to develop the brand identity and visual elements for Panissimo, emphasizing its commitment to quality, accessibility, and innovation.

Approach

Drawing inspiration from Istria's rich heritage and Reginex's renowned bakery products, Zambelli Design crafted the brand name "Panissimo," a fusion of the Italian word "pane" (bread) and the superlative suffix "-issimo," denoting the highest quality. The "24/7 Bread Stations" concept highlighted the accessibility and availability of Panissimo's products. The visual identity, centered around a silhouette of bread formed from a loaf pan, reflected the brand's core offering and heritage. The use of black and yellow colors, inspired by the hues of bread, enhanced brand visibility and memorability, while the slogan "FAST AND CONVENIENT" emphasized the user-friendly experience of purchasing from Panissimo vending machines.
